We recommend starting with adding fibre-rich veggies in your breakfast. Easy enough to do and tastes delicious. Vegetables are full of antioxidants and are packed with fibre- which is filling because it takes up space in your digestive system. Fibre also slows digestion, which means you’ll have a steadier supply of energy over a longer period of time.
Natural herbs and spices are another category of satiety enhancers. For example, fresh or dried basil, cilantro, oregano, rosemary, garlic, cinnamon, turmeric, cumin, zest, and pepper.
Last but not least, try to reduce your sugar intake, little by little. We know it is a gradual process and doesn’t happen overnight, but once you start to cut back on it, you’ll realize you don’t need as much of it as you once thought, but of course you can still eat something sweet once in a while.
